In today’s society, bigger seems to be better. Big hair, big houses, big personalities and big nights out; we have the option to supersize anything, but when it comes to men, is Mr. Big really what women want? With that on my mind I sat down to drinks in the city with the girls and listened to a friend divulge her latest lack luster escapade with a guy whose penis was “the same size as a crayola crayon. Literally!” She didn’t know if it was his pinky or his knob and that was after wondering if there was anything in there at all. That was not the worst part… For weeks he had been talking him self up making her desperately want him telling her all these amazing things he was going to do to her but he didn’t even know how to use it.
When presented with such a night of horror we have to ask ourselves a few questions… Do women really need a man who is majorly packing in his stack? Or is it all down to confidence and the way he uses it during a tryst of passion?
A study conducted by the Alfred C. Kinsey institute for sex research has revealed that the average penis size is 5.5 inches but don’t worry men, it takes more than a pair of wings to be a great pilot and the same can be said for a lover, it takes more than the size of your penis to make a woman sweat in the bedroom.
When I asked the girls if they would rather a larger than average man with below average skills or a slightly less than average sized man with above average skills? The answer was a resounding, “We want a skilled man”
Sexual health therapist Fai Kur from Sexual Focus believes that girls need to be kinder to guys during their younger years, “All a girl (or guy) has to say to a guy is ‘Oh I thought you would be bigger than that?’ and he will hold on to that for years and end up in my office 20 years later.”
Kur believes that confidence is definitely important in maintaining great sexual experiences, “Any intrusive thoughts can take a guy away from being present and in tune with his partner.”
This may be the case but there are some tips you can share with your partner to make the situation work to your best advantage and his.
Kur suggests women approach the situation as though it is about them rather than his penis.
Women LOVE foreplay. Get him to start with your ears and neck kissing and sucking them softly making his way down slowly. Incorporate some toys. I’m not talking bondage that is an acquired taste; you could try a vibrator or a massage kit. Try sensual massage gloves from romanticessentials.com.au and remember confidence is key for your man; boost his ego by telling him how much he makes you want him.

Fai has seriously gone mad...Fai has decided to sell Pre Launch Memberships at a crazy price of $49.95. I only say this because I have spent the evening with her and she has not shut up about all of her plans.
Despite having a very painful ear and a new sense or pride regarding my listening skills I am here to tell you that this really is a bargain. So as mad as she is, I think you should take her up on her crazy idea and join.
Who Am I ... I used to be Fai's manager back in 1995 and I am blown away by the amazing life that she is creating for herself. I knew her pre kids and pre marriage and apparently pre divorce pre uni and pre sexual health.

"I had not been able to orgasm with my husband since the birth or our child, I was self conscious of my body, I just didn't feel like myself. Spending time at VMP and attending their events has flipped my life inside out. Aside from the orgasmic experiences that are now mind blowing, I have now found a group of women and friends that have embraced me. Being able to share my experiences and to ask questions has been a liberating experience for me.
Fai, I can't thank you enough. Oh and I also have a new saying, Hugs." Jolene, R. Applecross, W.A.
